Volunteers at Goodwill have been very helpful to our F210 Community Alliance. They worked side by side with F210 Members to organize the F210 Annual Picnic. We could not have acheived such an event with out their help.

At the Goodwill, located at 1704 Honore Ave., the Goodnieghbor Staff, led by Goodwill Chaplain Tom Pfaff, have developed a free, informal, education and community development experience.

We call our education classes, Interest Groups, as they are not exactly like classes. The Interest Groups are free to all, the Teachers are volunteers, there is no enrollment, no tests, no diploma, and attend-ance is voluntary. Chaplain Tom and Staff have three goals that they desire for all the Interest Group Member's experience. One is com-munity building. Group Members meet and get to know each other while participating. This relationship development would not be avail-able anywhere else. Secondly, that our group members learn from the experience. The third goal is just as important as the first two, and that is fun. We want participants to have fun and in fact they do have fun.
